Rev. Kenneth  (Hyun-Gyu)  Chun serves as the Senior Pastor of Sydney Onnuri Church. 

A 1.5-generation Korean American raised in the United States, he completed his theological training at Westminster Theological Seminary and began his ministry among youth and English Ministry congregations in Korean immigrant churches. His calling later took him to South Korea, where he served at Onnuri Church.

Kenneth carries a deep heart for every generation and every nation. He believes God calls each local and immigrant church to make disciples of all nations and to love its neighbors — and that a church living out this calling grows into a vibrant, multigenerational community of faith.

 At the DCL Forum, he will speak into one of the most pressing issues facing ethnic churches today: how first- and second-generation leaders can navigate differences in culture, communication, authority and expectations with wisdom, sensitivity and genuine kingdom-minded partnership.

Glen Jones is the pastor of GRACE EMMANUEL CHURCH, a growing church plant located in Marsden Park, a fast-growing culturally diverse suburb in Sydney's northwest. From 14 years of living in the culturally diverse city of Dubai, the Lord has given Glen and his wife Donita not only a deep love for people from all over the world, but a love for what Paul describes in Eph 1:18 as "the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints" - that is, The Church! 

Grace Emmanuel Church includes people from 14 different cultural and ethnic backgrounds, ranging in age from 4 months to 86 years, and currently averages 60-70 attendees. That doesn't mean it's a success story - in fact, Glen would describe their church as a glorious "mess" - but Jesus is faithful to bring His work to completion and at the same time display His manifold wisdom (Eph 3:10) by breaking down the dividing wall of hostility (Eph 2:14).

As a mutli-ethnic church, Grace Emmanuel has seen people find a place of acceptance and belonging, not in their cultural affinity, but in their shared union with Christ. His heart is to see the church making the gospel clear together as a rich and diverse people united across generations and cultures.

Paul Nam is the founder and Lead Pastor of GRACE COMMUNITY CHAPEL (GCC Sydney), an active, gospel-centred community church located in North Parramatta, NSW. Before planting the Sydney congregation, Paul spent over a decade serving as a Site Pastor at Grace Community Chapel of NJ in New Jersey, United States. Guided by a vision to expand the Kingdom of God internationally, he and his family relocated to Australia to establish a sister church focused on making disciples.

Paul is a graduate of The George Washington University and the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has also pursued a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min) in Discipleship at the Talbot School of Theology.

Paul emphasizes a gospel-centred, Spirit-filled, and theologically sound approach to church life, focusing heavily on discipleship.

Jacob is the lead pastor of the multi-ethnic congregation at One Family Church in Granville, where he has been serving under the leadership of Senior Minister Rev YoungEun Park, who served at Sarang Church in Korea before coming to Australia.

Jacob has experience at navigating the tensions (and cultural complexities) between 1st generation church leadership and 2nd generation congregants.

Having also served at The Korean Presbyterian Church of Adelaide as English Ministry pastor for 6 years before being called to One Family Church in 2019, Jacob has a heart for seeing emerging pastors navigate ethnic church life and ministry with wisdom and maturity. He will be speaking about his experiences navigating ministry under Korean church leadership to pastor a thriving, missional church in Granville.
