Sydney Hosanna was founded in 1994 by a group of young people and pastors with a vision of praise and mission. Currently, as a non-denominational mission non-profit organisation NPO, we support and collaborate with small churches and educational institutions in the Sydney region, spread the gospel to the marginalised Aboriginal people in Australia, and evangelize people in underdeveloped countries across the world through the establishment and operation of Christian Education ministries.

Worship (Romans 12: 1-3)

"Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you.”

Love (Matthew 22: 37-40)

Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Mission (John 10:10)

"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”

The core value of Sydney Hosanna is to share new life and build up people through worship, love and mission. Further, the focus is on building up that “one person” as a genuine disciple who resembles the Lord. The genuine disciple who resembles the Lord has true fellowship with God.

That “one person” is someone who offers their life as a living sacrifice through spiritual worship that is pleasing to God. That “one person” is a person who loves God with all his heart, soul, and mind and loves his neighbour as himself. That “one person” is someone who spreads the good news of Christ who came to give life to the full.

Those who worship God in their lives will live a missional life that loves God, and loves their neighbours, and goes out to spread the life of Christ to the lost souls of the nations that are in need of spiritual life. Through all of this, we will soon see the day when the kingdom of God will eventually come on this earth.

I am that “one person” that resembles the Lord, who Sydney Hosanna seeks to build up. That “one person” is you. It is everyone. It is all of us.
